The Marching Blue is one part of a very active music program at Minnetonka High School. The Marching Blue is one of the more visible groups at MHS performing at home Skipper football games, competing throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, and participating in parades like the Minnesota State Fair and Excelsiors annual Halloween Parade.

Alloy [noun a-l̇ȯi]
A metal made by combining two or more metallic elements, especially to
give greater strength or resistance to corrosion.
The Marching Blue’s 2024 production explores a variety of metallic sounds
and imagery as the show progresses through stages of chaos representing
weaker metal, reflection, becoming a stronger, more organized material,
and finally a precious metal.
Foundry – a workshop or factory for casting metal.
Tin – a weak metal made by heating carbon.
Iron – a strong metal made by removing oxygen and impurities through a large blast.
Alchemy – process attempting to turn base metal into Gold.
